WEBSITE AND IDENTITY

We were asked to desgin the website for LA based photographer Kayt Jones, daughter of i-D magazine founder Terry Jones. She wanted a strong identity with a look reflecting her interest in French New Wave cinema.

To make navigating easier, and to ‘hide’ the enormous number of images on the site, we split it into categories and then pages of contact sheets. These then open into large pop up books to show the full range of stunning images in each series. The style of typography from the identity is reflected throughout the website.

Stationery

The stationery took its look from the website. The result is a simple but bold black and white typographic identity that can be varied with the use of rubber stamps for various purposes.
